Located just outside the city of Heraklion, along the 6 km coastal stretch of Ammoudara and only 100 metres from the beach, Alsus offers the feeling of escape while remaining close to everything.

I have rarely visited such a beautiful hotel. The room was excellent with all sorts of amenities, always clean thanks to room service - thank you very much for that - a super nice little cozy pool and whirlpool in a well-maintained garden with a bar - a real oasis to relax in. I loved it and I'm sure it wasn't my last time there… See you next year

A most pleasant stay

As soon as we arrived, we felt very welcoming staff who immediately put us at ease and explained everything to us. The breakfast buffet is incredible, you can tell that almost everything is homemade and there is never a shortage of anything as they gradually replenish it. The pool is as pictured and is a great place to relax. And even after check out if our flight is later he offers us to stay at the hotel and enjoy the pool and everything the hotel has to offer as much as we want. Really, if you are hesitating about this hotel, don't hesitate any longer!

The most helpful and smiling staff there is. Delicious food, great place.

You can see that they are investing a lot in the place. Very nice and well-kept structure, very spacious rooms equipped with many comforts and accessories. Water in the fridge (free) available to guests, as well as a small bottle of local grappa with glass cups found in the room upon my arrival. Restaurant and swimming pool next door, very well kept. Abundant and rich breakfast. The hotel has a courtesy bathroom and shower available for guests who have an afternoon/evening flight and who want to take a last dip in the sea in the morning, which is 50 meters from the hotel.

HOTEL LOCATION

ALSUS Boutique Hotel (formerly OASIS Hotel) is located in the seaside area of Ammoudara Beach in Heraklion, Crete — just 100 metres from the beach.

The hotel is approximately 10 minutes by car (10.4 km) from Heraklion International Airport (Nikos Kazantzakis), 7 minutes (5.6 km) from the Heraklion Ferry Port, and about 15 minutes (7 km) from Heraklion city centre.

The historic Palace of Knossos, one of the most important archaeological sites of Minoan civilisation, is located approximately 9 km from the hotel and is easily accessible by car.

Free on-site parking is available for all guests.
